Chando reside in New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College and became an actor before. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World Turns, which she performed from 2005 until 2007 and again for several months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 on the TV series House Blend portraying the role of Jenna Harper. She was Maddie Coleman in the CBS soap As the World Turns for three seasons. Chando was also a part of an actress on a documentary series for television in the US, True life, and played in Sherri. The actress starred in two episodes of the American drama-comedy TV show Glory Daze. In addition, her other TV credits include Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
