Chando currently lives in New York City. Chando started her acting profession in the fall of 2005 at Manhattan College. Chando was the original Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World Changes. She played this role between 2005 and 2007 and then again, for a few months, after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra began her acting career in 2002 on the TV show House Blend portraying the role as Jenna Harper. In the following three seasons, she starred in the American soap opera on TV which was telecast on CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando made an appearance on the American television documentary show True life in 2009. She also appeared in Sherri. Also, she acted as Annabelle in two episodes of Glory Daze, an American comedy/drama television series. She has also appeared on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
