Chando currently lives in New York City. Chando started her acting career while attending Manhattan College. Chando originated the role of Maddie Coleman on the television soap opera As the World Turns, which she was on from 2005 until 2007 as well as for a few months, beginning in the latter part of 2009. Alexandra first came to prominence as an actor in 2002, when she played Jenna Harper on the TV series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her debut TV performance following three years. Chando starred in American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009. She played Maddie Coleman in As the World Turns. She also starred as Annabelle in two episodes of Glory Daze, an American comedy-drama TV series. Additionally, her other TV credits include Castle, Hindsight, Dead People and Outcast.
