Her albums weren't very successful, so she disappeared for a few years. In 1988, Ford released her groundbreaking success album 'Lita.' The album was an instant smash for the track 'Kiss Me Deadly,' and the ballad , 'Close My Eyes forever. Her success was not long-lasting, as she disappeared for a number of years. Her "Black" album debuted in 1995. Her 'Wicked Wonderland" album came out almost 15 years after. The latest album she released, Time Capsule was released in the year 2016. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
